Grape: 51% Merlot, 49% Cabernet Sauvignon. Region: France> Bordeaux> Bordeaux Superier. Notes: Great quality for the price.
Description: Dating back to 1348, this prestigious property is located on the border of the Graves appellation. When the Ducort family acquired the vineyard in 1979, they leveled up the infrastructure and increased the quality - the estate was elevated to Bordeaux Superieur in 2015. This wine is driven by the earthy, gravelly soils in the area, exhibiting graphite, loam, and smoked wood. The tannins are firm and acid/ alcohol well balanced. This wine is quite impressive.
Food Pairing: Without thinking...Skirt Steak.
