Located in southern Italy, (the “toe” of Italian map), Ciro is considered one of the oldest named wines in the world, with a winemaking history stretching back thousands of years.
Made from Gaglioppo, a southern Italian grape variety, this wine is ruby red with shades of garnet. The nose expresses tones of flint and tobacco, while the palate shows fine tannins with a distinctive sour cherry component.
