Created in 2007 and situated between the revered appellations of Gigondas and Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Domaine Rouge-Bleu cultivates its 12ha of land using biodynamic principles. Hand-harvested early in the season to retain natural acidity, 13 grapes varietals are picked at sunrise to retain freshness. Partly barrel fermented with wild yeasts, maturation takes places in tank and barrel (with lees stirring) followed by light filtration prior to bottling. Aromatic notes of apricot with hints of tropical fruit, and stone fruit on the mid palate. This versatile blend has crisp acidity and a soft, well-balanced finish.
