Description: Founded in the late 19th century by the Klodic family, in the heart of Friuli-Venezia-Giulia, between the gentle and rolling hills. In the mid-1990s, the property was acquired by Dominic Nocerino, a well-known importer of Italian wines to the United States. Nocerino’s goal was to enhance the potential of the production area, the Isonzo, and to fully express the characteristics of the “terroir”. The wine exhibits yellow-straw color with aromas of papaya, peaches, & cream. The acidity creates a crisp, refreshing backdrop with a layer of hazelnut and mineral-stone on the finish.
Food pairings: Chicken (roasted, grilled), seafood, fish, pork chops, spicy dishes, sweetbreads, vegetarian dishes, zucchini, cream sauces, etc.
