Description: Lillet Blanc is similar to sauternes. Its color is a golden, shining yellow. It is flowery with a hint of honey and aromas of candied orange, pine resin, lime and fresh mint. Its taste is fresh, bold and fruity with an appealing aroma intensity and lingering aftertaste.
Lillet is a subtle blend of rigorously selected wines from Bordeaux (85%) and of fruit liqueurs (15%) handcrafted on site. Lillet is aged in oak vats for several months, allowing the aromas to mellow and its characteristic taste to mature.
Lillet is the only wine-based aperitif, a blend of 85% wine and 15% citrus liqueurs, produced in Bordeaux, France. The wines are carefully selected in the Podensac area and the citrus liqueurs are produced by cold macerating fruit peels in pure distilled spirits for several months.
