Description: Sixth Generation Winemaker Claude Michel Pichon produces this delightful aromatic Sauvignon Blanc on a 90-hectare estate in the Nantais region of the Western Loire Valley from vines averaging 30 years of age. The climate in the Nantais region differs from the rest of the Loire Valley. With proximity to the Atlantic, the climate is temperate and wetter than vineyards further inland, featuring poor soils - ideally suited to make fresh, dry whites. Bright steely and citrus aromas combine on the palate with fresh grapefruit pith and wrapped around soft mineral notes. Enjoy it as an aperitif, with seafood, or by itself as a crisp and refreshing white wine.
