Description: Agusti Torello gained his first experience of winemaking at the age of 14, working with his uncle in the cellar. Torello Mata uses old vines and age the wines for a minimum of two years. Focuses solely on indigenous varieties from the area. This winery prefers to craft regionally expressive Cava that reflects the unique terroir of Penedes. The nose is clean and fruity with hints of dried apple, mushroom, and fresh herbs. The palate is elegant and balanced with shortbread, mushroom, and soft minerality. Very good pressure with fine, lovely bubbles creating a nice mousse.
