Description: Els Vinyerons is a joint venture between Amós Bañeres and Alex Ruiz in Penedès, Catalonia. Both men have a common approach to farming - organic/ biodynamic - and a common approach to winemaking as well. All vineyards are hand harvested, native yeast fermentation, unfiltered, unfined, and without any added sulphites. The philosophy is to offer natural wine that’s easy to understand, affordable, and introduces consumers to the wonderful expressions of the indigenous varieties from Penedès. The wine exhibits delicate aromas of low-hanging violets and red fruit. On the palate we taste, red currants, loam, leather, and a touch of black pepper.
