Description: Founded in 1880 by brothers Adriano and Antonio, Ramos Pinto's history has been marked by a balance between innovation and respect for tradition. In addition to producing wines of exceptional quality, the House is known for its knowledge of terroir and for its pioneering viticulture. Committed to improving its bond with nature and the environment, Ramos Pinto is working towards this achievement by implementing organic farming and increasing biodiversity in the vineyard. This is a legacy which the House is proud to leave to future generations. This Ruby Port has a dense red color that is more intense than that of Tawny Port. It is lively and intense, and has strong, fruity characteristic of its grape varieties (primary aromas such as cherry, blackberry, plum and raspberry, with a hint of cinnamon). It has a rather voluminous attack because of its exuberance and amount of fruitiness. Through the retro nasal passage, we become aware of its aromatic purity coming from the aromas of the grapes. It has a long, compact finish.
Food pairing: Duck salad, red fruit desserts, All cheeses, chocolate, etc.
