Description: Hand harvested from 40-year-old vines grown on a hillside composed of noble clay and gravelly soil, on 250-million-year-old Triassic sandstone, the grapes are then very slow pressed after crushing. Vinified and aged in 2–8-year-old 500-litre barrels for 12 months, with minimal added sulphites. This seductive Chardonnay has an explosive bouquet. Delicious and guided by a natural tension, it is ready to drink today. Special attention should be paid to the clean final note and irresistible long finish.
Food pairing: A lovely aperitif, and a marvelous accompaniment for fish dishes and white meats, etc.
