Description: Redwood Empire is more than a cool name, its a home and a source of inspiration. With John Muir as their guide, protecting the environment has become their mantra. Built on sustainability, they source the best Midwestern Rye, Corn, Barley and Wheat, as well as California grown grains. The Rye is marked by its spicy intensity, with notes of pepper, clove, nutmeg, and cinnamon. They prize malted Barley for its chocolate notes and have an innovative, continuous micro-column still custom designed and built by Headframe Stills of Butte, Montana. It is a two column distillation process allowing for a finer cut of heads and tails, resulting in greater purity.

Named after the fastest growing Redwood in the world, "Emerald Giant" is a fan favorite in the Rye world. Starting with a mash-bill of 95% premium rye and aged for over 3 years in new charred oak barrels. Spicy with an exceptionally smooth finish, it is a great choice in your classic whiskey cocktails.

Rye Definition: A whiskey distilled from at least 51% rye. Must be aged in charred, new oak barrels (mainly American Oak). In order to be classified as a American “Straight” Rye whiskey it has to be aged for at least two years and no color added.
