Description: In 1962, Ridge made its first Monte Bello chardonnay, and two years later its first zinfandel. Since that time, Ridge has championed single-vineyard winemaking. For more than six decades, Ridge has been recognized by top critics, chefs, and peers for consistent quality and steadfast approach to winemaking.
"Coming all from the Estate Monte Bello Vineyard, the 2018 Chardonnay offers a medium gold hue as well as rocking notes of caramelized apples, white flowers, honeysuckle, and crushed rocks. These all [make] a medium-bodied Chardonnay with bright acidity, a focused, chiseled texture, terrific minerality, and just a kiss of background oak. It's going to benefit from 4-5 years of bottle age and have two decades of longevity, if not longer." - Jeb Dunnuck (May 2020)
We suggest decanting this wine before serving and not too cold.
