The color is light magenta all the way to the rim. Aromas of umami, sweaty leather and barnyard hay. The palate exhibits integrated dusty tannin, good acid/ alcohol balance and a layer of dried pomegranate and brambly cranberry. The terroir is upfront and present with musky earth and a touch of game. Really good light-bodied red that is perfect with a little chill during the spring/ summer months.
Food pairings: Mild soft cheese, roasted white meats, fish (salmon, tuna, swordfish), calf's liver, mushrooms, root vegetables, etc.
