Description: Can Sumoi is an estate between Baix Penedes and Alt Camp, when the Montmell Montains surround the Pla de Manlleu, near what was once the Marmellar municipality “Land of Quinces”. Now it is a land of holm oaks and scrubland, of old vines, raised on the plain, vented by the Marinade, wild. Can Sumoi is the new Raventos i Blanc natural wines farm. The farm also has 3 farmhouses from the 18th century and an old winery. Pepe Raventos, an oenologist and winemaker, wants to produce natural wines with origin, obtaining the true reflection of the land where they are born and their landscape. To do this, he works the entire farm in a biodynamic way, and makes his wines using the rural traditions and without adding any type of oenological additive.
