Description: Terra Alta is the most southerly wine region in Catalonia, northern Spain. It lays on the border of the inland section of Tarragona. It also has the highest altitude, with the mountain peaks reaching 950 meters (3,000ft). The wine displays a very pale straw color with intense aromas of white flowers and lanolin. The palate has a full, round mouthfeel with lovely notes of pear, linden flower, straw, and yellow plum. This wine is good with or without food.
