Description: Since 1508, the Plou family has grown vines around Amboise, in the heart of the Loire Valley. Over centuries, their estate has grown and now stretches over an area of 75 hectares. Inheriting a vineyard is nothing unless you inherit skills and savoir faire along with it. Lucky for us, Domaine Plou & Fils (sons) has mastered the art of fine winemaking. Malbec, not an easy grape to grow, offers richness, depth and complexity in the right hands. This wine displays powerful but soft tannins with great aromatic richness exhibiting hints of plum, tobacco, licorice and Morello cherry.
Food pairing: Beef (roasted, stewed, or grilled), lamb, mushrooms, barbecue, sausages, spicy dishes, hamburgers, chili, spicy or earthy vegetarian cuisine, etc.
