Description: The Cirulli family has been winemakers since 1861, In 2007 the winery in Ficulle was inaugurated, in one of the most beautiful places in Umbria, where grapes were grown since the Etruscan and the Romans times. The Cirullis' Winery is on 75 hectares, 200/350 meters above the sea level, 50 hectares are dedicated to the cultivation of grapes. The key to their success is the terroir together with the advanced enological techniques. Guided by Marco Simonit and Pierpaolo Sirch, Valentino Cirulli was named one of the most significant pruning experts in Italy. He is also one of the first winemakers in Italy who understood the importance of this approach and adopted the "Simonit&Sirch" techniques in his vineyards. The wine is really gorgeous, it is beautifully balanced with power and structure without the heavy. Lovely black and red currants, sweet herbs (marjoram and chamomile), with ripe, dusty tannins. Good alcohol and acid balance.
