Description: Family estate established in 1947 in the southern region of the Cotes-du-Rhone valley. Located east of Chateauneuf du Pape in sandy-clay soil. These wines are blended with authorized varietals, similar to Cotes du Rhone. Aromas of low-hanging violets and black spice. On the palate the wine displays a good balance between acid and alcohol with black pepper upfront. Red Licorice root and crushed violets are surrounded by soft mineral clay tannins.
Food pairing: Roasted chicken, hamburgers, grilled or root vegetables, oxtail, spicy Mexican food, Charcuterie, etc.
