Description: The father o f Verdeca, Leonardo Pinto has worked as the consulting winemaker at Produttori di Manduria for over 20 years. Verdeca is only found in the southern region of Italy and mostly used for blending. However Leonardo Pinto has resurrected this varietal to create an amazing mineral-driven wine with beautiful seafearing qualities. "Alice" means Anchovy in Italian and this wine speaks to the seafood and the salad crowd. Intense straw yellow color with lovely white flower and saline aromas. Yellow plum, melon, lemon oil, and salinity on the palate. Crisp acidity with a round mouthfeel and a soft mineral tone.
