Description: The De Leonardis brothers are based in the core of Vulture Valley. This area is famous for the Aglianico varietal that thrives in the dark volcanic soil. At the De Leonardis estate everything they make is Aglianico, in two different vineyards - "Terre di Renes" comes from the plot belonging to the mothers family. Aromatic nose of dark skin fruits like blackberry and dark cherry with spices and smoky bacon- the characteristics that Aglianico is known for. Dry finish with persisting tannins, but smooth and easy drinking.
