Description: Honored in the Gambero Rosso Italian Wine Guide with Tre Bicchierri, the highest mark a wine can receive, this jewel was cultivated with competence and love by the Rocca brothers, who feel close to the land. The grapes are from a single vineyard 'Bric Mentina' nested on the scenic ridge of a hill in the village of Barbaresco. The bottles spend long, quiet months aging in their cellar deep underground, far from noise or motion, where the temperature is stable. Intense, yet elegant nose of berry and floral.
Food pairing: beef (braised, grilled, roasted or stewed), full flavored cheese, game, lamb.
