Description: Formerly honored in the Gambero Rosso Italian Wine Guide with Tre Bicchierri, the highest rating a wine can receive. This jewel was cultivated with love by the Rocca brothers, who feel close to the land. The grapes are from a single vineyard “Bric-Mentina”. A cru vineyard known for producing a more austere, tannic style of Barbaresco. A lean palate with crushed floral, red fruit and umami character.
Food pairing: beef (braised, grilled, roasted or stewed), full flavored cheese (fontina, gouda, mature cheddar), game birds, lamb (grilled, stewed, roasted), mushrooms (truffles), osso buco, oxtails, risotto, etc.
