Semi-sweet, fruity, light-body sparkling red.
Grape: Brachetto.
Region: Northern Italy> Piedmont.
Notes: Stainless Steel tank. No oak. Hand harvest. Old vines.
Intense, heavenly nose of dark cherry and strawberries with a hint of rose perfume. Semi-sweet, yummy fruit flavors get a refreshing kick with tiny pearly bubbles. Serve chilled. The Brachetto varietal, originated in Province, is delicate, giving low yields from which sweet red wines with the color and flavor of strawberries are produced. The grapes for this wine are sourced from vineyards in the Monferrato hills in the south of Asti commune. The 20 year old vines are planted in limestone-clay vineyards facing south west at 250m to 400m above sea level.
Food pairing: Perfect summer afternoon drinking. Fruit salads and chocolate.
