Description: Posip is a very old varietal, largely considered the greatest white wine grape of Croatia and this wine is very popular among Croatian wine consumers. Pošip is a full bodied wine with notes of almonds, dried apricot, green fig, and mineral zest, accented with bitter lemon pits. Zlatan Otok is considered one of the best family wineries in Croatia. Receiving more than one hundred awards, medals, and recognition since establishing a winery in 1986. However vines have been growing and cultivated in this region since the ancient Greeks.
Food Pairing: white meats, pasta in white wine sauce, prosciutto, aged cheeses, the classic Dalmatian-style grilled fish with garlic, parsley and olive oil.
