Region: Italy> Piedmont> Langhe> Asti> Loazzolo. Grape: Moscato di Bianco di Canelli. Notes: Mosto d'uva (Grape Must).
Description: A lively sweet sparkling wine with pronounced aromas of fresh fruits (white peach, grapes, baked apples, etc.) and flora. The low alcohol level (3% Alc.), good acidity, and fine bubbles counter-balance the sweetness. The estate vineyards are located 450 meters above sea level on a natural terrace in the heart of the Langhe Loazzolo. The area is crossed by sea winds, which enhances the flavor, perfumes and the ripening of the grapes. Borgo Maragliano is a family business. Their wine is vinified and bottled in the cellar on the property in Loazzolo, the heart of Moscato country. It has received numerous awards including Gambero Rosso 2-cups and Slow Food’s best value wine.
Food pairing: Aperitif, dessert, as is.
