Description: The Biale family has grown Zinfandel since 1937. The winery exists in Napa's Oak Knoll District. The Biale family considers their Zinfandel to be the ideal expression of flavor due to intensive hand-farming, extreme thinning and careful selection of only the fully ripe black clusters.
Lush and dark fruits of blackberry, black cherry, white pepper, peppermint, and molasses are displayed upfront. Layers of dusty tannins intermingle with medium viscosity and medium acidity. Vanilla, turmeric, clove, and vanilla reveals itself on the finish.
Every cellar should have at least six bottles because one will not be enough.
