Region: Canada>Niagara. Grape: Vidal Blanc.
Description: Grapes are left on the vines until winter chill covers then with ice, thus the name. Then, the grapes are pressed while frozen to get a super concentrated juice. The result is very aromatic rich wine. This richly textured wine displays fresh tropical aromas of papaya, mango and apricot. Bold fruit flavors balanced with fine acidity that caresses the palate and concludes with an exquisite silky finish. Nestled into 11.5 acres of the Niagara Peninsula, the Niagara Estate vineyard makes the most of this cool climate viticulture region.
