Grape: Pinot Grigio. Region: Romania> Timis. Notes: Hand harvested, Stainless steel fermentation, no oak, vegan-friendly.
Description: Recas Vineyard, established in 1477 on the western fringe of Romania, went through a series of modernization in recent years to produce wines that meet the demand of high quality wines. They hired talented wine makers from Australia and Spain, replanted the vines, built a new state-of-the-art winery. The result is what we have in this bottle. Lovely fruit aromas of stone fruit and a touch of dried honey. Good lively acidity, nice mineral structure that goes into the pleasant finish. All grapes are handpicked in the early morning from the estate vineyard. This is what Pinot Grigio should be.
Food Pairing: Versatile. White meats, fish, light fare.
